  Great local restaurant with locally sourced food. Simple ambience, fun place, wonderful staff. Ask for John, he was the best server we've had in a long time. The food was superb.

  Food was great. Drinks were great. They ran out of dessert and offered us ice cream instead. Was good until they charged us 10 bucks for 2 scoops.

  An easy 5 star rating! Have frequented it every time I’ve visited Ucluelet (actually one of the things I look most forward to visiting) The food is so so tasty, every single dish; the staff are wonderful and helpful, and they even had a surprisingly good Gewürztraminer wine there! It’s both sad and pleasing that it’s on the edge of the world, and so hasn’t been ‘ruined’, though I often dream of their food all the way here in Europe. :)

  Delicious smoked duck wings, baby back ribs, and pulled pork. The waitress was awesome and attentive even though the restaurant was full. Definitely a must go when you’re in Ucluelet.

  I am staying at the Black Rock resort nearby and I asked a place that the front desk staff would recommend and she said here. She definitely did not disappoint at all. The beef brisket (14 hours smoked) was absolutely incredible!!!! If you use a fork here you would be insulting them. It was beyond tender and flavorful. I would drive the 6 hour commute here just to come here again.
