  We stayed at the Whales Tail for 2 nights during Spring Break and were very pleased. For some reason our reservation had been upgraded so we enjoyed a 3 bedroom suite with full kitchen during our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and we didn't hear any of the other guests even though the motel was full during the whole time that we were there. The woman at the reservation desk was very friendly and recommended restaurants and activities for us. We would be happy to stay with them again.

  The room was very clean and kitchenette was well equipped. The office is about a block away but it has pool and gym access available for guests for free.

  This was our fourth stay at the whales tail, and once again it did not disappoint. While it is not the most glamorous spot, it provides excellent value and the large occupancy rooms made it the perfect reading break get away. The staff are kind, and unobtrusive. Rooms come with access to the sauna, pool and gym facility, excellent after a long day of surfing. They provided dry rooms for us to store our gear between sessions, which was a bonus. Really happy with the value of the whales tail, it is located in a great spot- close to liquor stores, grocery stores, and restaurants. I am already looking forward to our next stay!
