  Stayed here over Thanksgiving 2017 and loved it. We were in the Elephant cottage which was super cosy, quiet and private. I definitely will be staying there again the next time I'm going to Tofino.

  We we're told that we can hang out at the cottage we rented anytime as long as when 10pm arrive the maximum amount of people would only be 5. But the next morning we were staying there we were making breakfast with my friends the office lady said that we can't have more than 5 people there anytime regardless of what they told us the day before. Then they charged us extra cleaning fee because there were too many of us (just for an hour eating breakfast) even though we weren't dirty. Another thing was I brought my dogs, I am aware that there are no dogs allowed in the cottage so I put them in their kennel outside by the stairs. Office lady came and said that we can't have them there so I put them by the street where I Park the car and she came again saying it's still part of the property, even though it was by the street where people walk their dogs. All throughout our stay ridiculous rules piles up and ruined our vacation. Half of us travelled 15 hours from Edmonton Alberta and we were supposed to stay for 3 days and 2 nights but we had to cut it short into 1 day 1 night because everyone just got bummed out.

  No-frills hostel with comfortable beds and clean sheets. Typical hostel mainstays available, such as kitchen and recreation area. There is also a small patio. Price is reasonable. We arrived late but the owner left word for us, so we were able to get in without any hassle.

  Rented one room in their hostel and a cabin since they can't accomodate the 12 of us. Too many restrictions which were not stated prior to getting the place. Cooking is aloud but limited. Rooms are only good for older couples and you can't use the most of it. Owner lives next door in the cabin which limits almost everything. It might be nice but the place needs to work on their customer service. If you are a big group again do not rent this place if you don't wanna ruin your vacation.

  Only complaint is the bathroom, which can only accommodate one person at a time.

  It really seems like we were given a very racist actions on our stay.
